Hello! My name is Maria Esztergalyos. I am a multi-passionate creative who loves fashion and design from the 1960s and 1970s.

In the 2000s, I had a leather accessories business, Majland NYC. I designed watch bands, wristbands and wallets and sold my products online and in stores across the USA. My designs were featured in publications such as InStyle, Teen Vogue, Bust, Venus, YM, Elle Girl, and more.

I’m currently in the midst of designing a line of colorful, fun leather sandal uppers and shoe components for those who have caught the shoemaking bug. I’m working on some handbags and other leather accessories as well. A natural transition from my Majland NYC days...

Also - I love shopping for vintage clothing, but rarely do I find something that’s actually in my size. I’ve created a collection of groovy T-shirts available in a variety of sizes. I’m also proud to feature some design collaborations with my mom, Theresa Esztergalyos, who was an abstract minimalist painter in the 1960s.
